The Directorate is responsible for the developing and coordinating the implementation of National Research, Science, Technology and Innovation Policies and Laws.

WHAT WE DO

• Facilitate the development and review of National Research, Science, Technology and Innovation (RSTI) Laws, Policies and programmes;
• Monitor implementation of RSTI Laws, Policies and programmes;
• Ensure compliance with national RSTI Laws and Policies;
• Create awareness on RSTI Laws, Policies and Programmes;
• Facilitate the provision of funding for Research & Development and Innovation activities;
• Promote capacity building and skills development in RSTI;
• Conduct awareness to promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship
• Conduct stakeholder engagements and promote Strategic Partnership
• Provide National Data on RSTI
